Wow, thanks Marc! I had the same problem when I moved. I put all the corals in the tank myself and payed the price. I wanted to get them all in the tank but I didn't have anyone helping me and I can't see. Lost and hurt a lot of corals. Everything is in a good placement now and starting to grow again.

    Beautiful coral, Shawn. Nice score.

Acans need space or they'll get your corals. Henry, it is extending tendrils onto the SPS to its right and peeling the tissue right off the skeleton.

That coral in the second pic is an Acan Echinata right? Mine has eaten so many acro frags I've lost count, it's kill zone is like 3" radius all around it...

i have no idea about AEFW and interceptor, i hope it kills them aswell, i have this really bad feeling in my gut that i may need to learn to treat for them aswell

Does garlic work on redbugs I have read that it is a treatment for aefw which are also treatable with interceptor

The interceptor will kill shrimp and crabs, lucky I dont currently have any. Some say it kills pods however I still have plenty and my snails are also just fine

The tank is looking great this morning,no traces of redbugs! I plan on dipping all new coral now, first in iodine then interceptor during acclamation

So adding Interceptor to the tank will not kill all the good worms and such in the tank?

Hey Shawn, everything will get better. You know with this hobby we have ups and downs. We just try to limit the downs. Looks like you will have a lot of ups soon though. That's awesome! When I moved to the new house I lost hundreds of bucks in livestock. (corals) Due to the fact I only have a little eye-sight and I put corals in bad Places. Anyway, we move on and make our systems even better.

I hear you man Ive had this problem in the past but I had to sit down and take everything into consideration and I JUST COULD'NT DECIDE!
So, at the end of about 4 months of procrastination and my angel causing problems I had to look at it and say look, The only thing left to consider is What am i losing more money on corals or fish? the answer was obvious -_-............ So I set up a FOWLR

my RODI isnt feeding in to my sump its going to a float valve in a 6g bucket, with an valve in the bottom to fill 5gpails, in the past remembering i was filling pails was tricky so i figure now i can turn on the system before i plan on doing a waterchange.

i had gotten a 55gallon foodgrade barrel but it was just too large for my little system water would be sitting too long i never really need more than 6gal at any one time.
