Hey Friends! So after doing some speedy reading I’m pretty sure i got everything right, i just treated the tank, I’m now waiting! The very first thing I did was make 15gal of saltwater so I’m ready to go in case of emergency. It was hard to figure out how much interceptor i needed to use, it seems most of the information out there is for large tanks; this is where chemistry class helped! I used known values (1large tab treats 380gal and contains 23mg of milbemycin oxime) ...

wow im definitely in a "low" this week with the hobby, not much has been going right first off, Thursday while fragging some acro i noticed i had redbugs i was not very happy, a couple pieces really are not doing so well working 9 hour days i havent been able to treat the tank, tomorrow i plan on attacking On Friday i went out and bought a cheap UPS battery backup from tigerdirect. it cost $50 or so. i was about to frag my blue acro today for a local reefer when i noticed some tissue damage, upon closer inspection i noticed that allot of my acros had the same problem, and that’s when my eye caught a tiny little orange bug, once my eye focused in it was easier to see the others so it turns out i have a bit of an issue i have been diping everything i get, but not with interceptor (i dont even know if its available in Canada) anyways i assume it came in in one of my recent frag purchases ...
In the last little while I have just been letting my tank do its thing, ive also been slowly placing my frags up on the rock, they were all over the sand acclimating, i have also been feeding very heavy to try and color up my coral. levels are holding steady, im frusturated i dont have to dose Ca...with weekly changes i seem to be able to keep it high enough my potters angle has been causing ...
