New Additions

The past month has been a very busy in terms of getting new frags! Between trades, ebay, the C-SEA frag-a-thon and the LEAR swap in Cleveland,OH I have a whole bunch of new goodies. I tried to remember the names of the coral and who I acquired them from as best a possible. A few corals I have had a bit longer but they are amongst my favorites so I took a few new pictures of them.

Maxi-Mini Anemone

I was heading back home (Cleveland) on Black Friday from a family gathering in Toledo. Of course I had to stop by the Salty Critter (Vermilion, OH) as they were having a very nice sale. I spotted this gold chalice and I had to pull the trigger. It really pops under the blue/royal blue LED's. Now the pressure is on to keep it alive and colorful!

Over the past several months I have been on the lookout for a Potter’s Leopard Wrasse (Macropharyngodon geoffroy). I very much enjoy the wrasse family and more specifically the various leopard wrasses. I have had good luck with my Blue Star Leopard Wrasses (Macropharyngodon bipartitus) and take that as a sign that my tank is hospitable for leopard wrasses.
