I took some pictures this evening so that I can have a photo record of the coral growth. I though I would share the pictures for those who might be interested. A few things I have noticed: - They do not lie when they say birdsnest is a fast grower! - The red planet frag I got was a light red when I got it. I placed it lower in the tank and it now has its trade mark green base and darker red branches. - FYI and reminder, these are all under Aqua Illumination Sol Super Blue LED ...

I spotted this guy on the rock this evening. There are actually 3 or 4 of them. They are in a very difficult place to photograph so I did the best I could. The very middle of it is purple, the a pinkish ring, followed by a purple ring and the tips fluores green. My rather uneducated guess would be some sort of zoanthid. My live rock it Bali Alor rock. So, any guesses on what it is, and if it is a zoanthid the common name of it? ...
I intially sat down to seek help on how to get my Midas Blenny out of the back corner overflow. At some point last night the mischievous fellow made the jump into the overflow, and it must have been a perfect jump as there is not much of a gap between the screen that covers the tank and overflow wall. My wife not only was the one to spot him in the overflow, but she devised the rescue plan and executed it. She worked with a net for about 5 minutes, then had me drop a few food pellets ...
