Now that water is at acceptable levels, after implementing Balling, I was thinking maybe it was time to try adding some corals again. Then, guess what, I heard about a guy selling his 86L nano with all inside, thought the price looked good, and bought it. Got some beautiful looking natural live rocks, two small peppermint shrimp, a nice small leather coral, a few Trumpets, some Zoanthus and Palithoa, a medium Galaxea, a small Xenia and some scattered greenish Mushroom ...
We got a new tank inhabitant this week, a small anemone! I had intended to get a slightly larger one but when I was able to go to the LFS it had been bought. They sell fairly quick over here... So they still had this little guy, which seemed to be healthy, would fit easily in my small tank, was less expensive, almost a bargain (R$100, roughly US$50), so I decided to buy it. The picture above is about 1 hour after being ...

Picture after arrival: ...

On June 3rd I decided to move the Yellow Polyps into the DT because my Mithrax crabs had been behaving well, weren't eating Zoa polyps anymore... so... well, the night after I added the Yellow Polyps they attacked. In the morning ...
On May 15th I went to a reefers meeting, something not very common in this city (Sao Paulo), where despite a population of about 18 million people, lots of reefers, and our typical Brazilian informal and friendly way of relating, there are no reef clubs and most reefers don't get together often. Go figure... must be a product of how traffic sucks big time in this city and you think twice before setting an appointment.... Anyway, Sao Paulo blues aside, the encounter was great and I ...
