Snorkeler's Cube

Tank: 180L (46gal) 60cm cube DT visible from all sides with central overflow column, 10cm (3in) crushed coral base, LR, 79L (20gal) sump with skimmer and refugium. DIY LED Lighting. External jerrican DIY ATO. Livestock: 2 clownfish, 1 Orchid Dottyback, 3 Green Chromis, 2 pink mithrax crabs, CC, palithoa and brown star polyp corals.

    Now I'm debating what to do.... GSP grow quick... so maybe I can keep them for Mithrax food in parallel with the other stuff (Valonias and GHA)... so they don't decide to eat other soft corals like the Zoas and Palithoa...

    I was thinking of moving the GSP to my new quarantine tank, but, with the lights off that tank is averaging 27.5C ...

  2. Green Star Polyps not extending

    Something strange is going on with my Green Star Polyps:


    They are not one continuous colony... but all of them have the tentacles retreated for two days now. I thought it might be too strong a current so I turned off my MP10 pump for a while, but no, nothing changed. From the picture above does anyone see something wrong?

    My other corals are OK (a Hammer ...
