Very nice looking sump! Looking forward to watching the build. Please post that process with pictures! Good luck.
Why does the middle baffle in the triple baffle spot appear to go all the way to the bottom of the sump? Are the glass edges polished so you don't get cut? If not, apply silicone across them like a thin barrier to avoid getting nicked.
looks good.
Yay! Progress!
Any excuse to get the tank up is a good excuse. Impending wedding - check.
Hey!Your back!Great to hear about the resolution process finally completed.
thats awesome your making a glorified reef keeper out of a micro-controller. i am thoroughly stoked to see this come together!
any new updates?
Think so, she was talking led for the build. BTW glad to see ya back winter is here time to getter done :P
For general light in the room itself?
Thanks guys! We pretty much both got swallowed by our respective jobs, then summer came and that is high-sports season for us, then last week I swear it was September. Apparently I blinked though, because its the end of October!
Welcome back. It's been a while. I thought you'd be bragging about a full blown reef by now.
Glad to finally see you guys are back... I had been wondering if the water test was a complete failure and that your house was out in the ocean somewhere.

The garden hose will actually move to the top of the tank as it fills more and more, we're just trying to limit the splash back. The RO/DI is 300gpd, with 21" canisters for longevity. The thing is a beast and runs like a dream. Just go to finish the wall behind it ASAP now that we're assured the tank is water tight.

is that garden hose going to be able to fill the tank with that much pressure on it?
Can't wait to see ya start stocking the monster.
Speaking of R.O. that RO filter you have in the back looks huge! Either you are pushing some large GPD, or your canisters are extra large for longer usage? Maybe both? Definately an exciting time!
That garden hose looks like a little r.o. line compared to the tank and plumbing!
