  1. Tastes Salty!

by , 01-12-2013 at 06:27 PM (T.I.B.E.T (The Incredibly Big Expensive Tank))
Since October, my last update, I've been pretty busy...and I'm only going to get busier because the tank is wet! We're at the end of the cycle now, just letting things flow as we're not on any particular schedule here. Although amusingly enough Tibet is quieter then our grow out tank. I attribute it to the wide overflow, and the sump design.

I have a skimmer on order, an RLSS r10, which I'm dying to get my hands on. So far the tank has run completely skimmerless since it was filled. ...

He has a wonderful personality though, and really active all the time so I'm thrilled. He came from a wonderfully spoiled home and I hope that he is happy in his new permanent home soon. He changed colours a few days after I got him for about 5 minutes, it was really mesmerizing and stunning to watch. Apologies on the "phone quality" it was one of those, ...

  5. What? Is that Progress I hear?

I took down Tibet's 180g growout tank and rehomed my fish. I had to take back a tang and urchin so I took a friend's old 90g (man this thing really gets around), and set it up.

I set up the RKE on the 90, and am waiting for the new SL2 module to be released. I'm 98% sure there is something wrong with the calibration of my pH probe. ...
