Tank Entry

I'm new to keeping SPS corals. A few day's ago I picked up a couple of Acro's and Milli's, I live in Sydney Australia, you wouldn't believe how hard it is for us to buy SPS, all our collectors prefer to ship them to you guy's, rather than to sell to local people, must be better money? Any way, my question is, would I be correct in saying that if my SPS are showing polyp extension then they are happy? I currently have them sitting at the bottom of the tank. I can see that ...

Hi, I recently tried keeping my first Mandarin Fish. I had plenty of tiny creatures in my sump, assumed to be copopods, and added corals on live rocks weekly to keep the copopod population high. Initially, I thought he would adapt to my aquarium well, he regularly nibbled at rocks and substrate. After a few weeks, he went missing for a few days, and when I located him he was terribly skinny and weak. He died. Do you have advice on keeping Mandarins?
