I like the looks of the tank. Are you using black sand, like a volcanic-close seabed? I once saw a tank like that in a LFS, it looked great but the store owner complained it consumed too much light because of the lack of reflection.
Wow, you're right, a lot has been going on since you blogged last. Thanks for the update.
you asked me first and I told you to go ahead a critique. hey look where I'm at now so it was good advice, no hard feelings at all.
I really need to watch what I say. I commended someone on their beautiful picture recently, and they reminded me how I was kind of hard on their photography skills years ago when I gave them my input. Your aquascaping is really nice, and has a wild (nature) look to it. Keep up the good work.

Great looking photo! Are the colours pretty true? If so, lovely tank! If not, also very lovely, especially the blue stag? on the right side.

Update us on everything, not just your lights.
it's a lil scary jumping to led, I've had suck great success with tried and true. but I'm like how quite it is now and controllability. thanks Marc I'll keep updating and giving my opinion on light as time goes
Your tank looks pretty healthy, looking forward to more entries about it. Glad you like your new lighting choice.
sorry for the low "par" pic i used my iphone
If you do that, make sure the cables can handle the pull and tug from opening and closing the drawer.
Emily loves the black sand, this one is made for reefs made by Caribsea I believe. we used in the her 20g for about a year also. ATO is a 5g aquarium in the bottom. the drawer is just for food and diff lil nick naks, I've been thinking of putting the mp-10 controller and reef keep controller mounted in drawer
You did a great job, the tank looks very clean - nice set up. How do you like your black substrate? Did you put an ATO reservoir in the stand to replenish evaporation? What's in the drawer?
it was a bit of a mess that day lots of frags and coral laying on sand bed. but thanks for compliments
Your reef is beautiful, Chris!
