  1. Making the jump to LEDs

So I finally decided to take the plunge into LEDs and after much debate I have chosen Ecotech Radion Pros. I picked up a couple Gen 1 standard models back in October but they didnt seem like enough for my tank so I went ahead and upgraded them to Pros in November. So what I have now is three Radion Pro Gen 2s over my 210 gallon mixed reef which replaced my three 14k Phoenix 250 watt Metal Halides.

The reactor had nice large grates to allow good flow ...

  3. A Fraggin' Adventure - Part 2 (Equipment)

Alright, to give you a better idea of where this is going, lets get a quick equipment run down out of the way. I knew going into this that I wanted a stacked tank system so that it would not take up much space. I also wanted to make the build easy and have collected most of your normal reef tank operating goods. This entry turned out to probably be too long, but I hope it helps and more importantly, I hope I have accounted for everything (who ever really does though, right?). If you missed Part ...

  4. A Fraggin' Adventure - Part 1 (Introduction)

    Hello Everyone!

My name is Wes from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and I have been reefing for just over 5 years now. About a year into it the bug hit me, who would have thought right?! Anyways, I started with a 55 gallon tank my friend gave me and my girlfriend Maria. Since then I have had a 3, 8, 28, 33, 40, 90, and a 210 gallon tank at some point - the 210 is currently my main reef tank. Things never end though and since Maria has a love for all that saltwater has to offer the madness ...
