Info and pics of my 29g tank.
I was going to do one big update but decided to break it up. This part is about my canopy. The system I got was a few years old and was really a fixer upper. Son-in-law Tim helping me! They had some bad wood on canopy, looked like it wasn't seal to great! He took off all bad wood. He replaced with all new wood. Notice I taped off the VHO caps to get ready for sealing and painting. ...
I had a lot of pics for y'all but wanted to delete a few I uploaded and when I click backspace it took me out of EVERYTHING I had already done. ;-/ So, his a simply update! Yesterday I hung my T-5's I had on my other tank in my stand and ran all the electrical except the lights, they still need to be done and mounted all the way on the canopy back. Canopy is half painted because its to heavy for just me to take off and no one has been over to help me take it off. New T-5's been hung in rear of canopy. ...
I installed my new T-5's yesterday and took some pics! I have 2 VHO's in the front and 2 T-5's in the rear. I now have to actually finish painting rear of doors and hang with new hardware, finish painting outside of hood, straighten out my electrical and put lights on timers, decide what to do about the sump and probably other things I can't think about..lol. I thought I'd read one time to turn your return pump off for a 1/2 hour every day to give it a rest. Is this true or not? Thanks in advance, HAT
Okay, I have everything in the neww 75 gallon tank. I believe the only thing I lost was one of my peppermint shrimps. Although, he could be hiding out! Here is a pic of the tank. I have to do some mods yet though. Lots more room! The top canopy has to be painted all the way but i'm waiting because I have to take canopy down to install a T-5 HO retro-kit to the canopy.
