  1. 75 Gallon RR/Small Update

    Okay, I have everything in the neww 75 gallon tank. I believe the only thing I lost was one of my peppermint shrimps. Although, he could be hiding out! Here is a pic of the tank. I have to do some mods yet though.

    Okay, from that pic, the piping on left is the drain. All the fittings on the drain need to be tefloned, clamped and glued? And, on the right is intake from the sump. Pump on bootom right of pic. Does all this need to be clamped, teflon and or glued?

  3. My 75g RR Tank / questions!

    The weekend is coming soon and I will need to go ang get some supplies soon, so some quick questions.

    1). VHO- I have 4 VHO's on the system. I need to by two ballast and the seller said he buys them from the builder store. (Home Depot, etc.) the question is: What can y'all tell me about VHO lighting. I never used then before? And, do y'all get ya lighting from HD or where? VHO parts, endcaps, etc.? Should I mount the ballast and such under in stand are on back of canopy, what ...

  4. My 75g RR Tank Build / Teardown

    I decided to put the new tank where I the old tank was. So, the old tank had to move. What I did was put everything in a rubbermaid with two powerheads. I put the frags in a tupperware container. Corals on top! My T5's on top. Shrimps, crabs and snails on top of that. New stand is in place, all equipment is cleaned and wifes going to clean and paint tonight or tomorrow. Here is pictures:

  5. My 75g RR Tank Build!

    Okay, Sunday my wife and I drove to go and get my tank in Katy Texas. We went to pick up a 75 gallon Reef Ready tank that I trade for a very nice laptop. I love the tank and although it does need a little TLC, it's big and RR. ;-) Here is a pic of it:
