Ok, so I just snagged a killer deal. 500 scored me a 75 gallon reef ready tank, stand, canopy, outer orbit metal halide and t5 48" fixture, bubble magus skimmer and mag return pump. Problem is this tank is kinda dirty.. and I really want everything to be clean before I start moving my 29 gallon to it's new home. I'm also not going to be using my old live rock/sand in this setup either. I want a fresh start with no contaminants... That damn red algae I had at first that looked ...
I swear, I can't keep fish to save my life. Willard my blenny is missing. No sign of him. One of my 2 cleanup crews is absolutely thorough as I can't find any trace of him in the tank or near it if he jumped. This weekends project was a screen top for it too after my green mandarin jumped a lil over a month ago The corals, 2 black clowns and gamma are doing fine. Water parameters are great, and I just looked at him yesterday and he had a full belly. Why for they no ...

It's been awhile since I've done an update post on the tank, and in that time I've gotten a lot of new goodies. Unfortunately I've been moving stuff around a lil too much in the tank, so I have a tiny diatom bloom atm on the substrate, and a bit of algae has popped up here and there, but overall it's actually staying quite clean. Ok, this is kinda weird.... but I got a pop up ad... that I've been watching for the past hour and a half lol. http://videos.tripzen.com/home/index...&cv2=790002053 I got nothing about spyware on it, but it's all videos of the virgin islands, red sea, and various other dive heavy spots. It's an ad for a travel site, but seriously, some of these videos are incredible... I only wish I could go to some of them

Played with the camera a bit today and I think I got the coolest shot ever. Here's Willard perched up on his favorite rock, nestled down in some unknown cool wavey red plants and the xenia in the background I also took a few more shots, and figured I'd toss up some of the better ones. It's also the first time I've really taken pics since all the hair algae is gone, and the coralline is really taking over most of the rock work. Overall ...
