That looks very clean.
Looks good, when you take a full tank shot you should try to isolate the the tank by itself. omitting the lighting and stand and stuff will allow the tank to pop more.
Yes there is a small cluster of suncoral in there. It's filling in/encrusting nicely. There are some fish in there.2 red firefish,3 green chromis,2 false perc clowns,a yellow tang,a onespot foxface rabbit fish.Part of the cuc includes 2 orange lip conchs,a large cleaner shrimp, and 5 emerald crabs. I have 2 peppermint shrimp in the refugium that promptly took care of some aptasia before it got out of control.I had a yellow watchman goby but he decided to check out the right hand mp60...
Thanks for posting. I spy some suncorals. Any fish in there?
Thank you, and too you as well! May your tanks stay full, and livestock grow out to the point you've got to share it with others.
We're getting impatient for you.
Oh ya,that is Marco rock.I have 200 lbs of it that I'm playing with to find the right"look".
As soon as I can get the electrical done in the basement for the sump room. Then I have to hook up that killer boosted rodi unit I got from you to my Genesis auto top off system. Then I'll be making a lot of water!
Haha.Ya it's the camera angle.standard 6 ft 180.There is actually 2 mp60's on the tank. They are positioned at opposite ends and I was thinking of running them anti sync in nutrient transport mode.
Wow...guess its the camera angle or that's a long 180...most of the mp 60's I've seen look huge. Is that Marco rock? I like the "two island" look.
That's a MP60?! It looks like a 40 in this picture. Add water already!
Looks nice and clean. When are you going to get it going?
Another shot of my as yet dry tank.Notice the polished and beveled edges?
What's the problem? Once you add a picture to your entry, you can usually double click on it to select the size you prefer. Remember, this isn't a build thread. Make a new entry and share your images and text like a new article.
I'm struggling with pics so anyone interested should prob go to my albums for full size.
Getting closer to water.Trying out some aquascaping ideas.
If you were starting from scratch, would you buy "live sand" in the bags at the lfs or would you just go with the dry Carib Sea floor Aragonite type stuff?I'm less than 2 weeks away from a wet test of my entire system Andddd, would you go with a remote dsb in a 40 gal custom refugium or just do the macro algae thing? I'm so close to start up again!
Finally picked up my new 180 tank. It's on the stand out in the garage.Empty.Boooo!
Well... I have a steel stand now.Custom made.Keeping the snowblower company in the garage. No tank yet but it is Christmas and all so i don't expect to see it untill January sometime.I have 90% of what i want to be able to start.Lights are on order too.No pics yet.I know ,I know, useless without pics! I wanted to pick up several pails of Seachem salt today at a boxing day sale but they were wiped out.I'm still learning patience.
Can't wait until you start and the pics start coming. I want to get an R/O DI from Marc too. Can't wait. I get all my R/O and salt water from the LFS right now.
