I've had a fair amount of trouble in the tank over the last several months. In that time I lost a 5 gal pail of sps so I pulled my reactor offline as it wasn't needed. Now that things have recovered nicely and things are once again stable with frequent water changes, I'm ready to restart the calcium reactor. In the past I've had difficulty keeping the effuent flow rate consistent and have had to tweak it daily. I will be ordering the same regulator as Melev and a controller of some kind. I'm thinking ...
A neon green hammer coral of all things! Has anyone ever experienced this? I'll try to put a picture up. Very mobile brown patches that irritate the tentacles making them over inflated to the point that you can't tell that it's a hammer.
I was watching a couple vids on the Orphek site and I noticed Marc and his booth in one and his booth in the background of a few pics. You definitely get around Marc!
Right then.Float sensor stuck on due to little white snails.Ato thinks water is low in sump.Pumps ro water into system untill sump overflows dumping i"m guessing 20 gal onto basement floor. And the external skimmer pump. Then gfci for that room pops.No pwr to system for several hours.Thats what I discovered at 10:30 am.Scrambling all day doing damage control and cleanup.
Fts from today. Changed out my lights to 2 Orphek Atlantik units a while back. Super happy with them and the changes in the tank.
