  1. New Sump design

    Long time I didn't update my tank build!!! In short things were really slow due to a load of traveling...
    Maintaining the tank and frag tank setup in the basement has become a chore due to the limited time, so I will be modifying my setup and adding a larger sump in the basement and will connect the frag tanks, nano cubes, and a couple of small coming tanks.
    This should help decrease testing time and water changes and dosing... Realize it will pose more risk of losing the whole system ...

  2. Fish additions

    Time to bring my tank build up to date as I haven't updated since 8 months!!!
    to start with the tank was started on Jan 3rd with a diner gathering of 3 best friends and reefers and we added some of the fish.



    Since then my assistants were in charge of introducing all fish:

  3. Aqua Cultured Fungias

    when I moved my corals from my old 150G tank to the frag setup (around 1.5year ago) had this purple plate with green tentacles die. I just tossed the skeleton in the back of the frag tank. months back saw these growths on it which initially I thought were some Mojanos... only to realize afterwards that Funghias ave been known to emerge on the skeletons of dead ones...
    Clipped one off and it's doing fine so guess I'll give the others some time and start taking them off a few at a time to see ...
  4. Tank Fill up.

    On Jan 3rd Filled up the tank with Pierres help (Big Thanks to Pierre) Had prepared around 270 G (1000L) of fresh mixed saltwater (mixed it for 2-3 weeks) The rest was collected from my frag tank and Pierres tank to help with Cycle.
    Sump and water change tank had been running for more tan 2-3 months now with some of my fish in there.
