  1. MB7 and Cyano.

    Interested in your opinion on this.
    I've seen it happen in two tanks where the first tank was struggling with HA and I suggested to the owner to dose MB7 to deal with it. It did take care of the HA after the loading period and a couple of weeks at the weekly dose dose. few weeks later at the weekly dose Cyano appeared and didn't stop even with syphoning and additional MB7 dosing.
    LAter on he used Zeobac, Zeozyme and KZ coral snow and after few weeks cyano was gone.

  2. Ceramics

    Back to some tank updates.
    Been struggling for weeks with choice of scape esepecially after I saw the amount of detritus that went out of my rocks in teh 150 while taking the corals out despite having a strong flow...
    So the decision was taken to go with Ceramics. Had the chance that a fellow reefer here was also going with Ceramics which made ordering much easier.
    We dealt with a company in Germany and their customer service in making multiple different scapes for our tanks ...

  4. Wall unit construction

    Finally got to go see the Wall unit, the builder opted to display it for us at his workshop to see it, to avoid changes to be made after it's installed...
    The wall unit is the cause of all the delay of this build.   5. DIY sump Finished

    DIY Glass sump assembled and water tested.
    This is the biggest tank I have made so far myself and so far it looks good with no leaks or bowing.
    Sump holds around 120G (440L) of water
    60x26x18" (150x65x45cm)
    Sump will handle around 40G (150 L) of water backflowing when return pumps are shut down which should accomodate the volume drained from tank and fishroom.
