    Back to some tank updates.
    Been struggling for weeks with choice of scape esepecially after I saw the amount of detritus that went out of my rocks in teh 150 while taking the corals out despite having a strong flow...
    So the decision was taken to go with Ceramics. Had the chance that a fellow reefer here was also going with Ceramics which made ordering much easier.

  3. DIY sump Finished

    DIY Glass sump assembled and water tested.
    This is the biggest tank I have made so far myself and so far it looks good with no leaks or bowing.
    Sump holds around 120G (440L) of water
    60x26x18" (150x65x45cm)
    Sump will handle around 40G (150 L) of water backflowing when return pumps are shut down which should accomodate the volume drained from tank and fishroom.

  4. Early scaping trials.

    And some early Scaping attempts.
    Needed something that would accentuate the tank deapth and have a 3D effect. Scap had to go higher from Rght to left so that viewing the tank from the RT side one would see an ascending structure with many of the corals still visible.
    Not sure if I should still make it a bit higher than this or not. Any suggetsions are welcome.

  5. Upgrade to 340 G tank changed to 390 G tank.

    Finally after months of delay the build continues with some changes:
    -Tank volume was upgraded to 390G for the display after a friends suggestion to increase the length 20 cm more.
    -Final dimensions are 220x85x75 (88"x34"x30")
    -Starphire on front and side panels.
    -Minimalistic Scape
    -External side overflow.
    -Additional 1000L 265G in Sump fuges and additional sump and fuges in fishroom and connected water change tank so around 2400L 655 G total ...
